What could be more divine than a fig leaf soup saucer? Eating soup drizzled with a sweet and tangy fig reduction! This cauliflower soup has kick but also a warm homey comforting feel perfect for this year’s rainy LA days. After living in LA for far too many years without my own fruit trees, now that I have some, I take full advantage and appreciate all their bounty including the leaves, flowers and fruits. I love the leaves and flowers for pretty serving accents almost as much as their fruits in my recipes 🙂
This cauliflower soup is lovely on its own as well, but I highly recommend making the FIG DRIZZLE to go with it. You can also use any chicken broth you like, but my 10 MINUTE BONE BROTH is great to freeze in one or two cup portions to have on hand. I hope you enjoy!
